Wow. Judging from this, you're a natural. Like I've told many a first-year journalism student at the university level, just "write it as you would speak it." You have a nice delivery a deep perspective on wota-related blogging history. Yes, having the "Recommeded Reading" tag on your blog is a two-edged sword; with notoriety come the inevitable critics, and in this neighborhood, a comment you might consider innocuous can come back to bite you in the ass, big-time. Nonetheless, this is ground zero for global expertise on idol music, bar none, so have a good ride!

Hey there Otingocni, and welcome to Vox and the H!P/J-pop-blogosphere! Nice to meet you.

We seem similar in some ways, like how we both started blogging partially thanks to MorningBerryz and Ray, wanting to present our perhaps worthwhile commentaries and, if you don't mind me saying, our writing style bear some similarities, too; it seems neither of us are really of the rabid fanboy-kind. :)

Also congrats on your first "recommended reading", whether it was something you wished for or not. ;) For me, it's getting a short write-up from Ray, wu-san, maiZe or whoever else on Int'l Wota that really encourages me to keep going. Just knowing someone read my post, it's a nice feeling.

I'm definitely looking forward to your future posts!

Welcome to the J-pop blogging community!

I have a similar story to yours... I've always been a big lurker on forums and blogs, but never posted anything. I couldn't see how anyone would be interested in whatever it was I had to say... Until there was one post on MB's blog talking about a game, To Heart 2, but it said something wrong, I think it was the original console the game was launched at... Anyway, I made a comment saying that, and got an answer. MB always answers every comment in the most polite way I've ever seen. That made me comment again and again, and when I saw it, I was getting involved in the Momusu in America debate and commenting pretty much everywhere. So, well, welcome to the "MB fans turned bloggers" community too!

I proofread a lot too, way more than I should, and I can only convince myself that what I wrote is worth anything after I see it up on IntlWota. But I always get some kind of positive comment, be it on IntlWota or on my blog, then I get happy and ready to do it all again. This community has been nice to me. But you should listen to Radicalipton's words too, no one knows the critics better than him on this neighborhood =P
