Eh?! Did you photoshop this?!! :O I have no idea how to alter images so...I'm puzzled but at the same time...or impressed? LOL! Or perhaps this is the equivalent of Rii wearing a top that reads "Juicy" in her new shashinshuu...something that I don't think that she quite understands the meaning of! :O

Oh and sorry to appear out of seemingly nowhere but Technorati seems to link everyone together and I like to remain anonymous too so it's okay if you mistake my gender. ^-^
Yeah I did photoshop this. Well technically I did it in the GIMP, but it is basically the same type of thing. She was holding two fingers up in a sort of reverse peace sign which, as I understand it, is a type of rude gesture in the UK. I didn't originate doing this type of modification though.

Oops, sorry about that, I meant no offense I just generally default to 'he', perhaps I should start using Spivak Pronouns more.
I used to use Spivak pronouns, but never quite got used to them. The problem with using non-traditional third-person pronouns is that pronouns are a closed lexical category (like other determiners and also prepositions, complementizers, and tense markers), so adding new items requires restructuring a grammar to accommodate them.

I switched to the singular 'they' because it happens to be a traditional third-person genderless pronoun that was already in my grammar and most other people's. Unfortunately, upon closer analysis, it seems that 'they' can't be used to replace 'she' or 'he' in all contexts in which they appear. See my recent comments on IntlWota for more details: http://www.intlwota.com/2008/03/blogs-%e2%98%85mini-moni-mania%e2%98%85-has-young-telephones-for-lunch/

That said, grammaticality is not the sole factor determining effective communication, and many grammatical phrases are incomprehensible, while many ungrammatical phrases are quite clear. So use whatever's appropriate, grammatical or otherwise, in any given situation. :)

GIMP is a cool program, but I didn't know it was THAT good!
